Clean Energy First!
Tell our leaders that we want clean energy first by signing the petition below:
Research shows we can save more than 10 million barrels of oil per day through more energy-efficient cars and trucks, clean and sustainable alternative fuels for vehicles, improved public transportation, and more energy-efficient buildings.
These savings are far greater than the less than 1 million barrels of oil per day that new drilling in protected areas of our coasts or in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge will ever provide.
We want you, our current and future leaders, to take action first on these clean energy alternatives -- before you consider opening another acre of protected land or water to drilling.
